Darrell left school and embarked on a career in the construction industry, serving a very successful 5 year apprenticeship. He used this experience to travel the world and work in many countries including, Australia, Canada and France.

Upon his return to the UK he, together with a partner, set up his own company called Kitchen World, which has traded for the past 18 years. The company’s main showroom is located in Poole Dorset. They design, supply and install high quality luxury fitted kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms to their clients throughout the country.

Bray Cottages are jointly owned by Denise, Darrell and his brother Kevin. Although Darrell is very much a member of the team, because Kitchen World, demands so much of his time, he is happy to leave the day to day operation of the cottages to Kevin and Denise. Their highly professional expertise and attention to detail has attributed to many of their clients returning time and time again.

Darrell’s love of food, his creativity and his colourful character have made him a perfect and valuable business partner.
